Singapore, September 5, 2024 – Weichert Workforce Mobility, the global leader in delivering exceptional employee relocation experiences, earned the honors of Relocation Management Company of the Year and Best Thought Leadership at the Forum for Expatriate Management’s (FEM) APAC EMMA Awards, which recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in global mobility and expatriate management across the Asia-Pacific region. The winners were recently announced during a black-tie dinner and ceremony at Hotel Fort Canning, Singapore.
Relocation Management Company of the Year is the highest honor among mobility industry players, and this year’s recognition is a milestone win for Weichert Workforce Mobility, marking the thirteenth time Weichert has earned this distinction (including wins in the Americas and EMEA)—more than any other RMC. Weichert currently holds RMC of the Year honors in the Americas region as well.
This was Weichert’s first win in the category of Thought Leadership, acknowledging its landmark research report on new trends and best practices surrounding Global Domestic Mobility. The company was also cited as “Highly Commended” in the category of Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility for its Weichert Go platform.
This year’s APAC EMMA nominations were rigorously evaluated by an impartial, highly experienced and independent judging panel of 32 senior HR and corporate mobility leaders from such companies as Amazon, Oracle, Uber, Johnson & Johnson, Siemens, Accenture Japan, Cargill and Micron Technology.
In awarding RMC of the Year, judges noted that Weichert “is truly a leader with their impressive technology platform, thought leadership and education solutions for the mobility community, ESG and sustainability efforts, and unique solutions for their clients.”
Judges also praised Weichert’s winning research report on Global Domestic Mobility, calling it, “a powerful example of taking heed of regional nuances and customer needs by challenging the status quo of ‘going global’. [Weichert has] excelled in covering an important but under-researched topic, delivering ground-breaking insights!”
