Currently, India is the number one departure and destination country in the APAC region, with the number of assignees into and out of the country exceeding even China.
With India’s vibrant culture; booming economy; and highly-educated, highly-skilled English speaking workforce, why wouldn’t multinational organizations be attracted to this country?
On top of this, significant government investment in national reforms such as Make in India, Digital India and Smart Cities are quickly transforming India into a global economic player.
Yet for companies recruiting or relocating talent to, from or within India, unique challenges remain.
In response, our Advisory Service group is embarking on a research project, Propelling Mobility in India, with the goal of exploring best practice solutions for enhancing talent relocation and retention in the region.
This project will be led by Laura Levenson, Practice Leader in our Advisory Services group, who will be incorporating a number of informative solutions including a detailed survey and firsthand interviews.
These interviews have been conducted among several multinational and India-based organizations with mobile talent in India, as well as interviews with our supplier partners in the region.
Are you interested in learning what other companies are doing to keep talent mobile in India? The policy provisions they’re including? Their biggest challenges? Our survey is designed to answer these questions.
Stay tuned to our blog and social media channels for updates on this project.
