MORRIS PLAINS, NJ, October 23, 2023 – Movers International, the global household goods division of Weichert Workforce Mobility, announced that it has earned the FIDI Accredited International Mover (FAIM) Quality Assurance re-certification, the only globally recognized quality certification for international moving and relocation services companies.
The highly coveted FAIM certification is the industry’s most prominent and authoritative benchmark for excellence, confirming that Movers International continues to meet the world’s most stringent quality assessment criteria for household goods shipping even as the transportation industry faces widespread labor shortages and complex logistical hurdles.
This re-certification, indicating full compliance with FIDI-FAIM Quality Standards, was earned upon completion of a painstakingly detailed independent audit by EY, after which Movers International achieved the highest possible rating across all categories, including quality objectives, service processes, claims procedures, supply chain management and quality of warehouse facilities.
Most notably, this audit featured the upgrade to the new FIDI 2022 Quality Standard, which requires three additional components to be addressed and documented within the company’s Quality Manual: Risk Management, ESG, and Cybersecurity. The next audit is scheduled for mid-2026.
“The safe and timely shipment of a relocating employee’s household goods is arguably the most important component of any corporate move, one that has a palpable impact on the employee experience, their productivity and our clients’ talent retention objectives,” said Tom Grohmann, Vice President of Movers International. “This certification gives our clients peace of mind that their moves are being handled by a partner dedicated to exceeding our industry’s highest quality standards and consistently delivering the highest return on their talent investment.”
With this re-certification, Movers International has held FAIM certification since the program’s inception over 25 years ago.
“FAIM certification represents the gold standard for the international moving industry, recognizing a commitment to quality above and beyond what most companies can offer,” said Bill Wilson, Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain. “We are proud that FIDI has once again recognized our relentless drive to deliver exceptional experiences and acknowledged our team and operations as being among the best.”
