MORRIS PLAINS, NJ, May 29, 2018 – Weichert Workforce Mobility was named Relocation Management Company of the Year at the 2018 EMMA Awards ceremony in San Diego, CA. Presented by the Forum for Expatriate Management at the close of its two-day Americas Summit, the EMMAs (Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards) is the premier awards event for the global talent mobility and international HR industry.
With this win, Weichert has set a new precedent, becoming the first and only company to be named RMC of the Year at the Americas EMMAs five times. Weichert also won this honor in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
A judging panel of senior HR and mobility professionals from a wide range of multinational corporations throughout the Americas region selected Weichert from a shortlist of 10 finalists, based on such criteria as service quality, value for price paid, industry innovation and proven results for clients.
A number of factors were cited by the judges as further distinguishing Weichert from the other nominees in this category, including Weichert’s Legendary Service culture, client retention rate, innovative in-sourcing of such key mobility services as tax planning and preparation, and its first-to-market survey of corporate response to the new US tax laws in regard to talent mobility.
“Winning this prestigious honor for the fifth time in seven years tells me that the work we are doing and the thought leadership we are dispensing are creating a distinctive value proposition,” said Dave Bencivengo, President of Weichert Workforce Mobility. “Viewed alongside our recent client survey results and other industry accolades, this award paints a compelling picture, and such outside validation of our work, especially from a panel of corporate mobility managers, inspires us to even greater things. We will never take it for granted.”
“The EMMAs are the only truly global yet region-specific industry awards, with the greatest breadth of categories for both corporate professionals and industry providers, rigorously judged by a team of fiercely impartial, highly experienced leaders from a wide range of disciplines across the Americas,” added Claire Tennant-Scull, Head of Content at the Forum for Expatriate Management.
“They are the ultimate recognition of excellence for the global mobility and international HR industry and we congratulate Weichert Workforce Mobility for its industry-leading fifth win as Relocation Management Company of the Year at the Americas EMMAs.”
