LONDON, November 22, 2019 – Weichert Workforce Mobility, one of the world’s leading providers of talent mobility solutions, has been named Relocation Management Company of the Year at the Forum for Expatriate Management’s (FEM) EMEA EMMA Awards, which recognize the top companies, technologies and products in global mobility and international HR. The winners were announced at a gala ceremony during FEM’s EMEA Summit in London.
Attracting entrants from across the globe, this year’s EMEA EMMA nominations were rigorously evaluated by an independent judging panel of senior HR and mobility professionals drawn from a range of disciplines across the EMEA region and representing such companies as Bayer, Citi, WorleyParsons, Becton Dickinson, Aviva, Burberry Ltd., Diageo and Equinix.
Weichert was selected from a shortlist of eight finalists for “demonstrating best-in-class relocation support service provided to their clients and assignees.” One judge commented, “Watch out for Weichert! This company is amazing. Strong client focus as seen with the advisory services group and involvement of its Client Advisory Board.”
This latest accolade caps a banner year for Weichert at all three regional EMMA awards. The company earned Relocation Management of the Year honors for an unprecedented sixth time at the Americas EMMAs in May, and won Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility at the Asia Pacific EMMAs in October.
“As the landscape of our industry shifts and provider consolidation presents greater challenges, it’s encouraging to see Weichert’s stability, reliability and service reputation resonate stronger than ever with corporate mobility managers,” said Dave Bencivengo, President of Weichert Workforce Mobility. “It’s an honor to receive such spectacular recognition at the EMMAs in all three regions, and I thank our global colleagues for giving our company—and our clients—a remarkable story to tell.”
“The EMMAs are the ultimate recognition of global mobility excellence for both corporate professionals and service providers,” said Claire Tennant-Scull, Global Director of Content at FEM. “This year saw one of our largest pool of entries from across the EMEA region, with a huge increase from all parts of Continental Europe, as well as Turkey and the Middle East. Amongst this fiercer competition, Weichert should feel extremely proud for being named Relocation Management Company of the Year.”
